    Description

Introduction to Youth Safeguarding is a three-day training designed to give an overview of Oxfam’s policies and approach to safeguarding young people in its programmes. The training considers youth leaders as people who should be protected from harm, but who also might cause harm. At the end of the workshop, participants should know what Oxfam means by safeguarding, be familiar with key safeguarding policies (including child, youth and digital safeguarding policies), and know what to do if they encounter breaches in policy and how to report concerns.

Downloads include slides outlining three days of training, facilitator notes and participant handouts. This training covers policies, procedure and approaches to safeguard young people from harassment, exploitation or abuse that results from their coming into contact with Oxfam or partner staff and programmes. It is aimed at Oxfam programme staff and those who work with an Oxfam partner in a capacity that involves them working closely with young people. It can also be useful for staff of other agencies working with children and youth.

    Export search results

The export button (to the right?) will allow you to export the search results of the entered query to a CSV file. To export the items, click the "Export" button.

There are two options to select the items you want to export to a CSV. Either you export all results from a search query, or you select a subset of items from the search results.

To select a subset of the search results, click "Selective Export" in the Export menu.

After making a selection, click the 'CSV' button. The amount of items that will be exported is indicated in the bubble next to 'CSV'.

The amount of items you can export is limited, but authenticating will increase this limit.
