dc.description<html> <head> <title></title> </head> <body> <p>This article, from the founder of Malawi&#8217;s Young Feminists Network, shares the writer&#8217;s experience of participating in the recent Young Women&#8217;s Regional Consultation, in Abidjan. The aim of the consultation was to enable dialogue between today&#8217;s young people and those who were young at the time of the Beijing Conference on Women in 1995, to progress the Beijing Platform for Action, discuss and update priorities for today&#8217;s young activists, and provide essential information to the United Nations and other organisations involved in pushing forward the gender equality and women&#8217;s rights agendas in the coming years. The experience of participation was an interesting one and the author shares her key insights here.</p> </body> </html>en_US
