Document typeGuidelines and toolkits
Stories of change are crucial in informing our work as activists.
Yet often they are too simplistic, Robin Hood-style morality tales that exclude the messiness and accident of real life. Alternatively, they are too complex, full of caveats and impenetrable language, making it hard to read or digest lessons from them.
This research guideline suggests an approach to researching and communicating case studies on change in a way that captures a broad range of the actors, power and processes involved.
