This three book series supports the development and delivery of Women’s Economic Leadership (WEL) programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean. It builds on work done by Oxfam GB and Value for Women on the delivery of market-based livelihood programmes with a focus on gender justice.
This second book covers the implementation of an effective WEL programme to reduce poverty by introducing changes that affect people's positions in markets, communities and households. It covers strategies for enhancing women's position and power in society by opening up resources so changes can be sustained and scaled up and by contributing to the gender justice agenda as a key point for advancing women’s rights.
