DescriptionAlt-WID, a working group of feminist educators and activists formed in 1993, focuses on the relationships between global macroeconomic policies and conditions in our local communities. The group is particularly interested in translating ideas into popular education tools that can be used by organisers and grassroots groups. This article describes one of their workshops. This article is hosted by our co-publisher Taylor & Francis.
