Description
<html> <head> <title></title> </head> <body> <p>Oxfam is working in countries around the world so that government budgets &#8211; both on the side of revenues and spending &#8211; work to tackle issues such as unpaid care work and violence against women and girls. Often under the banner of gender responsive budgeting, Oxfam is also working to support women and women&#39;s organizations to take their rightful seat at the budget table, so that the needs and priorities of women from all backgrounds and groups are articulated, understood and taken on board. &#8239;</p> <p>In 2018 we published a set of resources to support country teams and partners working on gender responsive budgeting. This new short guide on tax and gender goes a step further, by setting out some of the key issues, trends and questions for tax and gender justice activists to consider in their work. The guide comes with a set of case studies on past tax and gender work from various countries that might provide further inspiration.</p> </body> </html>
