Description
Through an examination of the role of women in the family, and concepts of mental illness within the Pakistani community and the British context, this article discusses the reasons why the experiences of hospitalisation and subsequent treatment with drug therapy in the community is so stigmatising for Pakistani women. This article is hosted by our co-publisher Taylor & Francis.
