Description
<html> <head> <title></title> </head> <body> <p>Climate and disaster risk information are important tools for resilient development. Combining such information with participatory analysis and planning can create effective early warning systems, and inform forward-looking decision making at household and community levels. Through its programmes, Oxfam has built links with government agencies and local non-government&#160;organizations (NGOs) to ensure that information related to rapid-onset hazards is locally relevant, and accessible to women and people with disabilities. However, for this information to support preparedness for slow-onset hazards, Oxfam and others (including government) needs to increase equitable access to climate information.</p> </body> </html>
