<p>This is short piece situates an interaction with Valdelice Veron within the larger context of indigenous land rights in Brazil. Valdelice, who belongs to the Indigenous Guarani-Kaiowá community, spoke about the persecution of her community and their struggle for land rights. The authors bring Valdelice's experiences to the reader and call on the feminist academic practitioners "to act upon and not merely write about, a more expansive, progressive politics."</p>
