Description
<p>In November 2012, the Department of Work and Pensions of the UK Government launched a consultation in order to design a better measurement of child poverty in the UK. Oxfam submitted a response in which we highlight that income and relative poverty must remain at the core of any measurement of poverty in the UK. Our suggestions below are offered by way of augmenting our understanding of the causes, experience and solutions to poverty.</p>
